WIGHTLINK CANCEL MONDAY MORNING SAILINGS DUE TO MECHANICAL ISSUE

Wightlink have tonight (Sunday) announced the cancellation of several car ferry sailings on Monday morning due to a mechanical issue on board St Clare.

The affected sailings include the 06:00, 08:00, 10:00 and 12:00 departures from Portsmouth, and the 07:00, 09:00, 11:00 and 13:00 departures from Fishbourne on Monday (1st December).

A spokesperson for Wightlink has said:

“This action is necessary to allow our teams time to work on repairing the issue and safely return the vessel to service as soon as possible.

“We’ll keep you updated throughout tomorrow morning and again, we apologise sincerely for any changes to your travel plans.”
