A total of 7 Wightlink ferry crossings between Fishbourne and Portsmouth have been cancelled this afternoon (Thursday) due to an ongoing technical issue.
Wightlink has confirmed that the 16:00, 18:00 and 20:00 sailings from Portsmouth have been suspended. Meanwhile, the 15:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00 services from Fishbourne will also not operate.
This follows the earlier cancellation of the 13:00 vehicle ferry service from Fishbourne.
No further details have been provided at this stage about the nature of the technical problem or when full service is expected to resume.
Wightlink has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
