An issue with the PA system aboard St Clare is causing delays of up to 80 minute delays on Wightlink’s Fishbourne – Portsmouth vehicle ferry this afternoon (Wednesday).
As a result of the issue, the ship has been pulled from service whilst the issue is fixed.
Booked customers are advised to check-in for their original booking time. All booked customers will be accommodated on the next available sailing.
Earlier today there were significant delays on the cross-Solent operators FastCat service following a medical emergency at Portsmouth Harbour.
A Wightlink spokesperson has said:
