6 Isle of Wight Red Funnel crossings cancelled as fault persists

Six more Isle of Wight Red Funnel ferry crossings have been cancelled today (Saturday, September 13) due to a fault on Red Osprey.

The vehicle ferry’s timetable has been slashed throughout the day, and now the 4pm, 7pm and 10pm sailings from Southampton have been cancelled.

The 5.30pm, 8.30pm and 11.30pm crossings from East Cowes have also been cut.

This morning, several services were called off due essential maintenance required on a critical item of equipment on board Red Osprey.

The cancellations have impacted travel times, with many customers delayed at the ferry terminals in Southampton and East Cowes.
