THERE is travel misery for Wightlink commuters after one of its FastCat ferries was taken out of service this morning (Thursday).
A ‘mechanical issue’ with the Wight Ryder II serving the Ryde Pier to Portsmouth Harbour route, has led to the cancellation of sailings.
Sorry, due to a mechanical issue on board Wight Ryder II on our Por Har – Ryde Pier FastCat, we've had to cancel the 07:15, 08:15 & 09:15 from Por Har & the 07:45, 08:45 & 09:45 from Ryde Pier today. Wightlink tickets and passes will be valid on Hovertravel or Car Ferry Service.
