2 HOUR DELAYS ON WIGHTLINK’S FISHBOURNE ROUTE OWING TO TECHNICAL ISSUE

Those travelling across the Solent with Wightlink are facing delays of up to 2 hours today (Thursday) due to a technical issue.

It has been confirmed that the Fishbourne-Portsmouth service has been hit by an issue on board one of the car ferries operating on the route.

Wightlink says that customers can expect delays of 120 minutes.

It is unclear at this time when the undisclosed issue is likely to be resolved and whether disruption will continue into Friday.

It’s said that teams are working hard to return to a scheduled timetable.
